HR Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, implement and successfully deploy an HR strategic plan for the business, which sets out the people/organizational capabilities required, and identifies how these capabilities will be delivered.
Act as a member of the senior management team, and partner with the heads of the other functions in achieving business objectives and addressing organizational issues.
Recruit and retain high caliber staff with the right skills for the job, through effective marketing of job opportunities, deployment of effective recruitment and orientation programs, and through promoting the company as an employer of choice within the community.
Implement compensation/incentive programs and benefit plans which are competitive and effective in motivating and retaining high performers, and manage the payroll function to ensure that all staffs are paid accurately and promptly.
Deploy a performance management process which ensures, on an ongoing basis, that staff set clear and relevant annual objectives, receive accurate performance reviews, and have meaningful development plans.
Evaluate the training needs of the organization, and implement training programs accordingly.
Deploy effective processes for succession planning and career development, so that successors are identified and developed for key positions within the organization, and so that the talent within the organization is fully developed.
Ensure that the staff working environment and facilities are functioning and contribute positively to staff morale and productivity. Manage the office administration services to ensure overall company efficiency, productivity and cost effectiveness.
Build a capable, motivated and customer-focused HR team.
Develop and maintain employee policies and practices which support high standards and
professionalism, and which are aligned both with local employment legislation and with the values of the corporation.
Regularly review and evaluate HR programs, systems and procedures to ensure they are relevant to business needs and are cost effective, and upgrade as necessary.
Contribute to the company’s profitability by adhering to the HR department’s operating budget.
As a member of the Regional Human Resources team, partner with the other senior HR professionals in contributing to the successful deployment of the company’s Regional HR strategy, and undertake other specific projects depending on business needs.
REQUIREMENT
At least 5 years of generalist HR experience with 3 years at a managerial level
Bachelor Degree or higher of Business Admiration or Human Resources Management.
Comfortable working with numbers in detail and with accuracy
Good communication skills – verbal and written English
Good interpersonal skills, ability to work with all levels in the organization, self-assurance in
dealing with a wide variety of people and service providers.
A track record of successful HR leadership in driving people/organization development and change management.Proven capability in employee/industrial relations, with a firm grasp of employment law/practices.
Ability to be effective both strategically and at a hands-on, operational level. Must be a “doer” with high energy levels.
A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
