Research and Product Development Manager
M.G.N Emperor Bank is seeking for potential candidates to fulfill the position of Research and Product Development Manager based in Head Office (Phnom Penh).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Job Summary
Research & Product Development Manager is responsible for researching, developing and launching new products & services and enhancing and redesigning the existing products & services. He / she will work with relevant departments to identify and define target market segments, market requirements, business strategies and the competitive environment.
2. Job Responsibilities
- Conduct the market research to support decision-making on the offering of new products & services
- (Re)develop and commercialize the existing / new products & services
- Undertake in-depth market insight to provide fact-based decision-making to support the product development activities
- Monitor market trend and information collected by the Bank to identify potential areas for the development of new banking products and the restructuring of existing products
- Prepare mandatory business environment reports to present to the Management
- Prepare research & product development proposals
- Work with marketing & corporate communication team on product launching and promotions
- Participate in developing business strategies
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENT
1. Work Experience & Qualifications
- Have a minimum of 7 years of work experience in research and product development in the banking industry or any related industry
- Must possess a bachelor’s degree in Economics/Statistics/Banking & Finance/Business
- Have strong reporting and presentation skills
- Have basic knowledge in FinTech
- Have a good command of English
2. Personal Qualities
- Creativity and vision
- Analysis and problem solving
- Proficiency in data analytics tools, eg: Excel Spreadsheet, Stata, SPSS
- Able to focus attention on detail
- Strong written and verbal critical reasoning
